In an era of disposable everything, I’m striving to find things in life that are invaluable. Things that won’t fade and go away overnight that I would never throw away in a million years. Things that are precious beyond estimation. Relationships with family, friends, and with my special one. So far I’ve found a lot of people in my life that are so precious to me. My family, my partner, and so many friends. In the midst of a continual search for happiness, I’ve found myself being thankful. Not just for the greatest accomplishments that God has allowed me to partake in, but also for the small things that may seem totally insignificant to others. I’m thankful that I have found happiness, and things just keep getting better. My journey in life has taken me many places and I’ve been in many circumstances. Through it all I’ve lived to talk about it and tell the story of how providence, faith, courage, and determination have kept me through it all. The road has been long, but its not the end. The obstacles encountered have been great, but I’ve conquered them all. Death has plagued those close to me, poverty has crippled my family, and disease has held me back at times. I stand victorious over all of these things like a great General after winning a battle. I won, and I am still winning
