I’m down to earth and looking to enjoy life. Interests are varied enjoying almost anything, more-so if I am in good company. I know what I want out of life and am goal-oriented. Described by my friends as a hopeless romantic, I try to find the best in people. I’m honest and value honesty, respect and integrity. I love my family although not especially close. I hope one day that I can feel that through my partner's family. Friendship-wise, I am loyal to a fault. I will do just about anything for a true friend, they are my surrogate family. I am an intellectual, shy at first but open u as I get to know you. I don’t show my emotions on my sleeve but I am very emotional inside and hope to share those feelings. I am not a clubber, I do enjoy going out with friends to clubs to enjoy the company, drinks with fun conversation, and dance. I also find quiet nights at home cuddling with someone to be just as fulfilling. It's all about trying to strike an equitable balance. Looking for the "American Dream", just that I want it with another man.

My interests are and include books, TV Shows (thank god for TIVO), movies, video games, dinners in or out, get-togethers with friends, driving, dancing, music (all but Jazz/Country/Rap), travel, etc. There is also a lot I still want to do and experience in life and hope to share that with someone. My match would be interested in many of the same things as myself yet have differences as well. I am willing to try new things within reason (I will not bungee-jump). I am big into technology and a Sci-Fi fan. If you are too, or can be open enough to enjoy that with me you get a big bonus. I work out on a nearly daily basis but not a gym-rat. Trying to keep healthy as best as I can with my limited time and of course, culinary talents. I also love stimulating conversations your mind is like a muscle too and needs the exercise.

My mom always kicked me out of the kitchen as a kid, it stuck with me. So if you can cook another bonus for you! My taste is very simple. I can enjoy a good Filet Mignon and Red Wine, but I also love a simple Pepperoni Pizza.

My parents raised me for corporate America, and my closet is a testament to that fact. My wardrobe is mostly business and I have found myself saying "I have nothing casual to wear!" I really do need to get some more casual clothes…

I love being warm, hate being cold. If it has to be cold, I prefer having someone to help keep me warm. I love surprises, but only if I don't know they are coming. Hate when someone says "I have a surprise for you, but you have to wait." I am a very patient person, but I hate waiting. Sounds like a contradiction I know, but it really isn't.

Looking for a relationship where I feel wanted and needed but not smothered. To meet someone who knows it's not necessary to spend every minute together, but wants to. He has to understand that me-time is necessary. Has to be stable, emotionally and financially, and needs to know who he is. No more "experimenting" in life. He has to be confident yet not arrogant. Be ready and willing to commit to a relationship (yet strong enough alone so as not to be defined by it). Not into serial and/or multiple daters. Has to know how to have fun and hang with friends. It would be my preference that we have similar interests, but also differences so as to bring something to the relationship. Must be kind, warm-hearted, unafraid of displaying affection (at the right times), smart, ambitious and funny (I love to laugh and make others laugh). He would have to respect himself and others, and have the social graces to accept people for who they are. He has to be open minded to new things and. Must be willing to share his life with me. Got to remember relationships are work and full of compromise.
